Mad Alpine - Team Registration

Welcome to the Mad Alpine Ski Club registration site. We can’t wait to ski with your athlete this season!  Please review the registration process below prior to starting. 

 

Registration Process:

 

Step 1. Review program details on the program page go to: www.madalpine.com for details. Please pay close attention to the program details, program requirements and program calendars to ensure you sign up for the correct program. Step 2. Review all registration details and club requirements outlined here before registering.

1. All registrations must be processed and paid online. We will not be accepting checks.

2. There are two payment options available for all programs. You may pay in full online at the time of registration OR in three installments. The first installment will be at time of registration, the second on 11/1 and the third on 12/1.

3. Registration is due by 10/31 or until the program is full. Registrations on or after 11/1 will be charged a $100 late fee. Register early to get the lowest rate!

4. Mad Alpine does NOT offer refunds. Please purchase the Regsaver Registration Insurance through Sportsengine during the check-out process to protect yourself in the event your child cannot complete the program.

5. Please be sure to provide all of the information requested during the registration process. When asked for a phone number, please provide the best number to reach a parent at during training and competition on weekends. Being able to look up all of the parents correct cell phone numbers at a moment’s notice during the program is critical. Also please use the most updated email(s) since that is the main form of communication program directors and coaches use throughout the season. The only email address we use are the ones that you include on your athletes account.

6. Ski racing is a volunteer heavy sport and we need everyone to help make our competitions and club events run smoothly. All families (with the exception of our Intro to Race families) are required to volunteer for the club during the season. Our Mad Alpine Board parent representative and volunteer coordinator will reach out closer to the season with volunteer opportunities.  Thank you in advance for your support of the club and your athletes!

 

Step 3. Register for programs on our secure registration site (you are here!) and follow instructions. If you have more than one racer in your family, you will be able to register all athletes prior to checking out.

 

Step 4. Register for any relevant competition organizations for your child’s program. Check your program page requirements section to confirm if you need to sign up for any other organizations.

1. US SKI (All competing alpine athletes in the US Ski and FIS programs): The United States Ski and Snowboard Association is the national governing body for alpine, freestyle and snowboarding in the United States. Please select Mad Alpine as the club. Registration is due by 10/15/2021.
2. MWAR (All Junior Race and Sr. Race athletes and any US Ski, FIS or High School program athletes that plan to race in one or more MWAR competitions this season). This registration is mostly for you to sign the MWAR competition waiver– no fees are paid by you directly. Registration is due by 12/1/2023.

Payment Options

PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Submit total fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account.

PAYMENT PLAN:  Fees are divided into 3 installments. The first installment to be collected online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balances will be split evenly and automatically debited from the SAME ACCOUNT on November 1st, 2022 and again on December 1st, 2022. If you wish to use a different account to pay the balance, please log in to your SportsEngine account BEFORE the first day of payment to update your account information.

Programs available on this registration: 

• Introduction to Race Program (Ages 6-10, 4 week/8 session program) $350
• Junior Race Base Training Program (U8, U10, U12 athletes, 2 practices per week plus 1 MWAR race) $500
• Junior Race Extended Training Program (U8, U10, U12 athletes, Up to 3 practices per week plus all 6 MWAR races and coaching support at the La Crosse Spring Fling) $750
• Junior Race Extended Training Program + US Ski (U8, U10, U12 athletes, Includes the full Junior Race Extended Training Program AND indicates interest in attending some US Ski events and additional training sessions this season. Additional costs will apply which will be paid on an ala-cart basis.) $750
• High School Training Program (High School Athletes only, Select Tuesdays or Thursdays) $350
• U14-U18 Race Base Training Program (2 practices per week plus 1 MWAR race) $500
• U14-U18 Extended Training Program (Up to 3 practices per week plus all 6 MWAR races and coaching support at the La Crosse Spring Fling) $750
• U14-U18 Junior Race Extended Training Program + US Ski (Includes the full Junior Race Extended Training Program AND indicates interest in attending some US Ski events and additional training sessions this season. Additional costs will apply which will be paid on an ala-cart basis) $750
